Pack2Go Europe held its Autumn Summit in Brussels on 13-14 November 2008. Delegates and guests debated on Europe's changing eating habits: facing the packaging challenge.


On Thursday 13 November, delegates reflected on challenges of communication for our industry, with a innovative presentation from Lars Wallentin, former head of packaging design at Nestlé. Michael Gamble, Head of Packaging Innovation for Coca-Cola explained his company's thinking for innovation beverage packagine. After lunch, Annette Mützel from Foodservice solutions talked about trends in the out-of-home market.

On Friday 14 November, officials from the EU institutions and representatives from the packaging industry went over many regulatory developments for the packaging industry, in Europe and in the Member States. Mark Barthel from WRAP also presented the study on Food Waste prepared by WRAP this year.
